Member cities can join the Roadmap (2022-2024) by sending a letter signed by the mayor to the Secretary General of the OWHC (secretariat@ovpm.org).

The personal commitment of mayors ensures that local players are mobilized over the long term, and that the approach is integrated into city objectives. Mayors can get involved in the various stages of the Roadmap to the extent of their ambition, availability, and interest, and at least take part in one Mayors' Panel meeting per year.

Cities must confirm their support for the Roadmap (political vision, issues at stake) and indicate the name of the elected official responsible for strategic oversight of the process and the other people involved, in accordance with the procedures described in the explanatory document (see document below).
